error after installing eclipse - any cue?

Hi all,

I have just installed the latest version of Eclipse and can't do a thing with the plugin Icy. When I want to create an Icy plugin (or when I download from github my project), the creation or import goes fine but at the end, I get this message:

'Building workspace' has encountered a problem. An internal error occurred during "Building workspace."

and the detail reads:

"An internal error occurred during "Building workspace".

Illegal char <  > at index 27: c:\data\Icy\lib\xuggler.jar

(oddly, character 27 corresponds to the "r" at the end of xuggler.jar)

This is kind of annoying, but even more so, when I reload Eclipse, nothing shows up in the package explorer (except an error message saying the plug-in org.eclipse.jdt.ui was unable to load class org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.packageview.PackageExplorerPart" and I get a Dialog box with the error "Initializing Git support for Java templates has encountered a problem", and nothing works anymore.

The error seems to be related to the ICY plugin, because I can download and install ICY-App from Github correctly. But even this package stops showing up when I reload Eclipse after the first error.

(Icy is installed on my computer at c:\data\Icy; memory allocated for the VM: 8000; )

(the version of Eclipse is java-2019-03 or java-2018-12, installed with Icy plugin and git plugins, on windows pro 2010 and the latest JRE java).

Do you have any cue about what can happen?

Problem solved by installing Eclipse "Photon" instead of the last 2 releases.
