Parameters for Spot Tracker

Dear Happy Icy Users,

I am trying to track the tips of microtubules (see figure) (trying not to use a dedicated Matlab plugin : plusTiptracker). The movement is directed (always in the same direction, actully depolymerizing MT  are not labeled anymore). But the detected tracks can switch from one direction to the other. I have hard time to find the parameter(s) that will get the direction straighter and those that will reduce the size of the gaps in a track

Any help will be appreciated !!!

Hello Eric,

I tried to play a bit with your video sequence and indeed it's quite difficult to get a good tracking.
I joined the parameters i used and which provide better tracking result than defaults settings but still the result is far from perfect. Maybe the author of the plugin can find better parameters than me !
