Hello,
I am trying to know which plugin(s)/protocol could help me to :
on a timelapse image,
On which i have multiple ROIs that don't move spatially, but appear and disappear many times
(that light up or off at various time frames during the sequence (cells that light up = appear and turn off = disappear) because they are neurons discharging)
Some of these ROI might be synchronized or not (= meaning there could be 1 or 2 or 3 populations of cells that are more or less synchronized or discharge at the same rhythm)

How can i detect which blinking cells are synchronized and belong to the same population?

Thank you in advance for your help!
Let me know if it's not clear!
Sincerely

Stephane

Hi Louise Laure,

Sorry for the late reply.. just in case, did you tried this plugin :
http://icy.bioimageanalysis.org/plugin/eTrack

You can look at the demo, maybe it can be useful for you. I think you will still have to play with statistics at the end to show your different neuron populations.

Best,

- Stephane
