Hi guys,
I have installed Ubuntu one week ago so I am a real beginner.
Could you please give a step by step instruction how to install Icy on Ubuntu? I already extracted it to an "icy" folder containing the application and now i can't make it work.
Thank you in advance,
Rogério

Hi Rogério,
You need to set the icy.sh file as "executable" then refer to this link to automatically launch the icy.sh script file just by double clicking on it:

Hi Stephane,
Thanks for your help. I have solved the problem, but in fact by another way. The installation zip file does not have any icy.sh but it has an icy.jar that I set as executable. Now it is working fine!
Appreciate your help!

Hi Gomes,
Glad you were able to solve your problem ! But if you can do that, just use the updater.jar in place of icy.jar, as launching icy.jar directly prevent some java settings to be correctly set (updater.jar does it).
