pixels' size and distance bto the periphery of a nucleus

Good afternoon,

I actually need to calculate distances in 3D. I use ROI Inclusion Analysis to calculate spots' distance to its' nucleus periphery.
I have 108x108x300 nm pixels. Here's my question: does the ROI Inclusion Analysis takes in account the pixels' dimensions when it calculates the Oriented and Absolute distance to the periphery? Is it okey in this case to use absolute distances?

I'm not 100% certain but i think so, i think it indeed use the pixel size information for the calculation.
A quick way to check it is to try to change the pixel size information and see if results change ;)

But in this case, what is the "size of the pixels" in my resulting tab? is it pixel_size_xy  or is it mean(pix_size_xy, size_z) ?

No answer...? I think it must be based on the pixels' size along x and y axis, but I'm not sure...
