Tracked spots ID

Hi

I'm automating my analysis of two-photon T cell tracking, by creating spots from the ROIs of my cells, putting these spots into the spot tracker and outputting the tracked spots' positions. However I also want to report statistics from the original ROI alongside the tracked spot (currently a min intensity). ROIs have a unique ID that makes them easy to track, however spots currently don't so I'm trying the match up the ROIs and spots by recreating the spot coordinates from each ROI and comparing to a tracked spot in a loop until I find a match. I can find a majority of my spot-ROI but I'm concerned how well this works as the spot tracker also makes virtual spots to fill in the tracks, which obviously haven't got a match ROI, so I have blanks in my data.

Is it possible to implement a spot ID? Or keep a handle on each spot as it goes into the spot tracker? Or else is there a more robust way to match up ROIs and spots? I tried "ROIcontains" but some spots end up outside their ROI.
