How to do 3D ROI

Hi,

I'm new in using Icy, so this might be a silly question, but I want to do volume calculations in 3D and I can't find how to do 3D ROI to use the 3D analysis. I've found the topic about the Icy 1.4 release saying there's better 3D ROI support, but I haven't been able to find it so far in Icy or any of the plugins.

All suggestions are welcome!

Hi Jan,

Right now you need to initialize 3D ROI from plugin. For instance you can use the Thresholder plugin to segment your 3D image then have a 3D ROI as result. Afterward you can manually modify the 3D ROI.
In future version we will add a feature to extrude any 2D roi in 3D so you will be able to generate them manually, but usually it's a painful task to do them manually it's why we have many plugin to generate them.
