Icy window won't open correctly

Dear Icy experts,

Some days ago, Icy was working fine. But now I've opened it and the window is just about 1/10 of the screen height, but the width is fine. I can't maximize it and can't see any opened file.

I'm using the last version under Ubuntu Voyager 14.04.

Hi Fernando,

Can you post a screenshot about the problem ? Do you have any incoming error message ?
We tested successfully with Ubuntu and Lubuntu 14.04 but there is many others factors to take in account.

There it is. I can only resize the window horizontally, and when I try to maximize it, it changes the borders a bit but that's all that happens. I'm currently using two monitors.

I work in Paris (ICM, Pitié-Salpêtrière) so maybe we'll go visit you one of these Wednesdays!

What a weird issue you have there. It looks like you're in "multiple window" mode but the switch doesn't appear to be pressed... Can you test to switching between detached mode and normal mode to see if that make any difference ?
And of course you're welcome to visit us one of these Wednesdays :)

In detached mode, I can open an image but I can't resize its window. I can resize the Inspector window, though. I attach a screenshot.

Hi Fernando,

Definitely a very weird issue. If it happens on a laptop, it would be nice that you come to see us in Pasteur on Wednesday morning with your laptop so we can understand and hopefully sort the problem :)

Do you have any other computer using the same Operating System (Ubuntu Voyager) ? Are they impacted by the same problem ? Do you use a specific desktop manager / GUI manager with Ubuntu Voyager ?
If you can provide more informations about your system we may be able to reproduce the problem here and that would be really helpful !
