Hello AIESEC SYSU and thank you very much for a lovely week-end,
I was hoping for more than one AIESECer to be with us and enjoy a cultural day in the beautiful city of Guangzhou, but well, maybe you were too busy due to the exam period or something else you had planned for those days.
Either way, all of you should learn from Ivy He, because she did a lot of sacrifices and she was really kind and opened minded.
She is a true AIESECer and I am very proud of her and the behavior she has regarding AI and meeting new cultures, especially the trainees your LC brings to the country.
We are all change agents right? Or at least we want to be in the future. Hehehe, I was very happy and I am still because of the great chance we had to see the lovely city you live, work or study in, but I am very disappointed to see that just one member out of a few tens were able to meet with us.
Whatever, is the person who lives the experience who can make it good not the others, but we, as trainees had a lot of confidence in AIESEC SYSU.
We still have, and hope in the future you will reconsider every action that you take regarding the Exchange program and be more careful about the reception.
From the 8 trainees will be in this company maybe just 3 of us were AIESECers and were in contact with the inside work of AIESEC and about the lack of time, or many activities, or urgent tasks, or meetings, or planning, the other ones know only about the Exchange program, and that`s about it, no other experience or "relationship"with AIESEC
Is our best product and it`s quality should be 100% good, so we can sign many other corporate TNs and of course recruit and send in Exchange satisfied EPs with one lifetime experience.
Don`t think that I blame you, because I am not, I am just presenting the situation as it is.
Don`t think we are not enjoying being in China, because we are doing this at the maximum capacity.
Don`t think we don`t love Chinese culture because we do.
It`s not about us being here it`s all about AIESEC and the promises and rules in the IXQPS. That`s what is all about!
And maybe just maybe then AIESEC China will be very proud of the rank the country has in AI`s Exchange statistics (not just numbers but also quality).
Either way I still love AIESEC and I am very proud to be one, and I am very happy that all of you guys have the chance to be a member, but please try to take advantage of every opportunity and especially every advice that is given to you. It`ll help you a lot during your real life that you`ll be having soon, I assure you.
Hope this email finds well every one of you and I wish you will have the same great experience when you`ll go in Exchange that us are having here in China.
Goodluck,
Lidia
