New in Xcode! Record Actions with Automation

You can now record actions with the Automation template in Xcode 4.2's Instruments app. Just follow the instructions for Capturing User Interface Actions into Automation Scripts.

It's also possible to write JavaScript that makes assertions, e.g., that something is visible.
