Interpreter Wanted: Taiwan Ministry of Transportation and Communication Visiting CA Feb 12-15

Happy New Year!

The Institute of Transportation, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Taiwan and the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) will be visiting California between Feb 12-15 (may be extended to Feb 19). The purpose of the visit is to learn about the Road Charge Pilot Program in California, and they plan to visit Caltrans, CalSTA and CTC as well as a handful of private companies. They are in need of an interpreter (paid) who can also help with transportation. This is a great opportunity to network with transportation professionals from Taiwan as well as various organizations in California, and to learn more about the mileage-based tax. Here is their tentative schedule.

Feb 12-13: Sacramento

Feb 14-15: San Jose or other Bay Area locations
