Next ICTPA Event: Train ride on the Niles Canyon Railway 9/16/2018

Dear ICTPA NorCal Chapter Members,

Please join us for our next ICTPA event - a family-friendly train ride on the Niles Canyon Railway, followed by Chinese lunch in Fremont/Union City! This is a chance to enjoy the fall with your extended ICTPA family. The train ride will be a round trip leaving from Niles in Fremont, going to Sunol train station, and returning to Niles. It’s about a 45-minute ride each way. For more information about the train, you can go to this web site: http://www.ncry.org. You can bring snacks for the train as well. Afterward, we will go to a nearby Chinese restaurant, which we will decide based on the number of people.

 

Date: Sunday, September 16, 2018

Schedule: 

10:30 - Optional carpools from Fremont BART

10:50 - Purchase tickets and board train at Niles

11:20 - Train departs Niles

12:30 - Train departs Sunol for return trip

  1:30   - Train arrives Niles. Drive to Chinese restaurant.

  2:00   - Arrive Chinese restaurant

  3:30   - Event ends, carpools to Fremont or Union City BART

 

Costs:

Train fares: Adults $14, Seniors (62+) $11, Children (3-12) $8, Infants Free.

Lunch: We have found several high quality, affordable restaurants, total to be split equally amongst participants.

Niles Train Station: 37029 Mission Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94536

Restaurant: TBD Fremont or Union City, based on number of attendees
