CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION - NordiCHI 2020 Workshop – "Co-Designing #Personas for #UserExperience and #Engagement in #Automation".
Grounded on principles of co-designing and user experience engagement in #design, this one-day workshop will offer an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners aiming to actively engage in co-design of personas to explore the interplay of autonomous technologies with user experience and engagement.
Interaction designers, educators, policymakers, system, and automation designer or other related stakeholders are encouraged to participate and present their interest by submitting a position statement confirming background, research interest and future scenario of automation, highlighting opportunities and/or issues for UX and engagement in one domain, e.g. work, health, entertainment, learning, and where the co-creation and usage of personas, or their criticism, form the basis of their position statement.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
#UserExperienceDesignHuman-centered computing Human-computer interaction (#HCI) User studies #ParticipatoryDesignSocio-technical empirical studies Automation future scenarios #InteractionDesignCo-Design #scenariosGames and gamification Personas
Submissions will be reviewed by the workshop organisers according to their relevance to the problem and motivations to advance towards a more systemic socio-technical solution.
In the context of #COVID19, we can say the workshop WILL happen in whichever format possible at the time of the conference.
KEY DATES Workshop paper submission: September 1, 2020 Notification and confirmation of acceptance of position papers/scenarios: September 7, 2020 Workshop date: October 26, 2020
SUBMITTING A PAPER TO THE WORKSHOP
Number of pages: 4 pages, including future scenarios, but excluding references (max).
