FYI: Joomla is a really great Web 2.0 tool. See Eugene's resources site:

Any other schools using it in stead of a website?

Subject: Web Design Training Using Joomla - Durban/Pretoria/Cape Town

FLOSSNet is hereby announcing the Web Design Training Using Joomla! courses
to be held in Durban, Pretoria and Cape Town. The mission of FLOSSNet is to
unlock the potential of free/libre and open source software for the benefit
of NGOs, CBOs and small business in Africa.!

Joomla! is a Content Management System and is for a start not complicated;
Joomla makes it easy for non-technical people to create professional and
dynamic websites. Why? Because it has been developed with the masses in
mind. You do not need any programming knowledge such as HTML or PHP to use
Joomla for web creation. Joomla! is easy to install, simple to manage, and
reliable. Using Joomla! is like using a word-processing program.

Within minutes, you can add the following features:
Polls * user registration * simple contact forms * newsfeeds * photo
galleries * built-in search functionality * content rating systems * forums
* blogs * tagging * and many more

It will set you back tens of thousands of rands if a web designer should
create the above features. There are over 3800 extensions which will provide
all sorts of functionality and features for your website. You just plug it
in and configure it.

Organisations will be in control of their websites; different people will be
able to contribute content; the design of the site can be changed in minutes
using Joomla!

In a nutshell, you can set up a fully-fledged website in one day, if you
have the content. Visit our website at: http://tinyurl.com/4qhw8l

This course is intended for those who have never used Joomla before or who
have limited knowledge of Joomla. However, anyone is welcome to attend to
brush up or to fill gaps in their knowledge.

frontend and the backend of a Joomla-powered website * Organising your
