A new front page

Hi all,

I wanted to let you know that I have been trying to update and
organize our image as a network. This will be the focus of much of our
network meeting at the upcoming ICSEI conference.

for now I would like you to have a look at this and please wright back
on what you think on the following

1. logo
2. change in name to Methods of Researching Educational Effectiveness
(MoRE)
3. what our mission is (maybe email me this personally)

Saad, great work. I agree with the changes you propose.
A detail : at the website the 'E'of MoRE was replaced at my screen by a Greek sigma. Can you solve this problem? Best regards, Jan

I like the sigma. We do represent a group that encompasses the sum of all parts of schools... so it might be appropriate.

Hi There,

I was contemplating the MoRE acronym for a long time, becuase the 'E'
only stood for effectiveness but we do more than just effectiveness
research. Some of us do early child hood, others do engagement, most
work in education.

So sigma, is a mathematical sign that represented the sum of these and
at the same time looks very very similar to the letter 'E' so I
thought it was a good replacement.

However if we think as a network we only focus on effectiveness
research I would be more than happy to switch to an 'E' and focus that
in our mission.
