Dear Creativity Community,
Quick update on progress towards our Day of Giving goal (March 16 & 17).
Again, as a featured Buffalo State story, we are raising funds for our proposed Innovation Suite. Imagine a state-of-the-art space dedicated to our department’s history as a pioneer in the field of creativity and applied creativity working space to support in-person and virtual Creative Problem-Solving sessions. Actually, little imagination required as we have raised sufficient funds to kick-start the project, with construction proposed to start this year in Butler Library (thanks to the generous donations of the Parnes and Osborn families, as well Joe Reimels, Sarah Thurber, Blair Miller, and others).
The goal for Buffalo State’s annual Day of Giving is to show our communities support of this project with a large number of modest gifts. I helped start our 24-hours of giving by donating $100. My goal is to reach more than 100 gifts of between $10 and $50. And to incentive our community, I have promised to donate another $100 when we reach the goal of 100 donors.
I understand there were some problems with the donation link yesterday, but today, I am told, it is working.
To give, or to learn more, go the following link, scroll down the page of stories to find ours. ,
Please help me to get to our goal of 100 donors.
