Happy Halloween, fellow Gardening & Balanced-Diets-For-Kids advocates!

 

Just thought you'd enjoy reading about this once-in-a-lifetime event I had recently at the White House garden, posted on the link below.  Such an inspiring experience -- I wish you all could have been there with me.  Michelle Obama's work on nutrition in schools is arguably the best thing that's happened in DC in a long time.  Likewise, the work ALL of you are doing is healing OUR community.  Thank you.  I'm sure I'm forgetting some folks, but needed to express how so very grateful I am to be able to partner with you as we connect all life skills with the garden.  The best is yet to come!
