Dear Tim and ICS,

We are now getting calls for certain grades to stay at home and rumours that certain kids and grades need to stay at home.

However, there has been no official communication from the school.

I know it is the weekend but things are happening and it would be appreciated if you could clarify what is going on and if we should not have our kids go to School.

Lack of communication can cause more rumours and concern.

THanks

Best, Michael

Thanks for your email.

Let us be clear, there is no "COVID spread" on campus.   We are taking precautionary measures to help STOP the spread of the virus.

As stated in an email just sent out from the Head of School, our Playbook Protocols for COVID are strong and are in place to mitigate the risk and spread of the virus.  Our protocols allow us to isolate specific grade levels to take extra precautions, as we have done.

If your child's grade has been directly affected, you would have been contacted.  If your child is NOT affected, you  are able to continue to send your child to campus for learning. Our communications priority is to inform those affected first and then to inform our greater community, as we have done.

Thank you for reaching out to our Parent Forum with your question.  We appreciate the ability to answer your questions directly.

We strongly encourage any parent with questions to reach out to the school either on this forum, or via email to any of the divisional principals. to Dr. Stuart, Head of School, to Kristi Williams or to our Communications email.
