Seminar Title:  Designing, Monitoring & Evaluating Land Restoration Initiatives: Taking Stock of Current Approaches And Positioning Ourselves For A More Impactful Future.

This presentation hopes to:

1. To share initial thinking, existing approaches, and methods on how to design, monitor & evaluate LR initiatives at different scales, including:

• Intervention design and assessment
• Stakeholder engagement and learning processes
• The importance of and utility of these datasets

2. To create buy-in on how to take the land restoration design and evidence generation work forward.

3. To brainstorm ideas on how to generate more and higher quality datasets and evidence relevant for land restoration at low cost.

 

The format for the presentation:

10 minutes presentations each followed by an open discussion session (total – 90minutes)

Dear Imelda,

Thanks for updates. Sorry for not being able to participate, I am finalizing data collection for pigeonpea intercropped with maize. So September and October is a time that i am on and off for field work. Pigeonpea variety chosen by farmers is a long maturing taking 9 months in the field. I will participate next time.
