Hello. Im currently examining ICQ for network traffic. Does ICQ only rely on
UDP based traffic or does it also use TCP ?!? Or is there anybody, who knows
where to find this information ?!?

Depends on the version
99B and older UDP on typically port 4000
2000A and up TCP on any port typically 5190 or 80
If you add ICQ surf to the mix you get both UDP and TCP
