DDI Agency Registry: best reasons to get registered?

Dear All,

I have suggested that my University get registered on https://registry.ddialliance.org/

In response to an observation that there are very few Canadian universities registered, what can I communicate about why my University should be registered? I found this: https://ddialliance.org/ddi-agency-id-registry -- but I would appreciate any (other) compelling examples to share.
