Market Research - Things to talk about in your research -

  1. How does his supply get replenished
  2. What kind of medicines move and what don't
  3. Buyer Profile - and what kind of medicines, age groups, regularity with the prescription
  4. What kind of non medicine items does he stock? What of them move regularly?
  5. Does he have tie up with doctors? What kind? Pediatricians, General Medicine
  6. Finance Model - How does he keep credit with the distributer/re-seller ?

3. Target Profile :

  1. Create a survey template on LinkedIn - Wednesday - 3rd April 2013
  2. Average monthly spend on medicines.
  3. Willingness to use the service ?
  4. Types of medicines ?
  5. Create a survey form and distribute it to doctors.
  6. Get the pharmacy profit margin.
  7. What would our service margin look like ?
  8. Who are we eliminating from the chain ?
  9. Pharmacy - Distributor relationship ? Communication channel ?

Did you guys have a discussion on whether we should use "Online Pharmacy" as the final project topic or any variants?
A thought: We are anyway doing research for online pharmacy as part of our course-work. We can plan something different for our project, I see all four of us work on B2B business. 
What do you guys feel.

Idea was to use this as a case study and see the our own viability as a team before we embark on something more interesting to all of us
