Good-Bye Party for Grethel's Move to Houston
News Flash!… “Costa Rican Girl with a German name makes good in Texas!”
Y’all… I tell ya… We are gonna miss Grethel a lot!
We
will miss her energy, encouragement, willingness to step up,
friendliness, love of life,
works of charity and using her gifts and
talents to serve all of us as only Grethel can.
So let’s send Grethel off in style and wish her well.
DATE: Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 7pm – 11pm
PLACE: Grethel's Home, 2665 Hillandale Circle Cumming, GA 30041
BRING: a dish to pass: a meat, veggie to share.
Suggested
Donation: Grethel would like to encourage us to bring a donation (can
food, checks or other) for the Missionaries of Charity.
8 PM: Talent show!! Come prepared to share your talents, if you wish!
9
PM: Toast Grethel Goodbye! We will take a time to go around the room
and say a few words to honor and encourage Grethel. Each of us should
think of a good word or two to share with Grethel and the group during
this Toasting/Roasting/Encouragement segment of the party.
9:30 PM: Dance! Grethel loves, loves, loves to dance! It’s good for the soul.
Note
from Grethel: the Gospel reading for Saturday (April 21st) reminds
us that... Jesus walked on the sea while a strong wind was blowing. He
calms the fears of his disciples struggling in the boat. Jesus reminds
his disciples and us "It is I. Do not be afraid".
