Multi-Color Font Icons

Hi,
When I generate the font for my multi-color icons icomoon achieves this by using CSS to stack multiple spans. So if I want to display this on a website do I need to create all the html manually including all the spans?.

There is a "Get Code" button that appears when you hover your glyphs while in the "Generate Font" tab. It gives you the html code with these spans.
