High latency (375ms!!) with premium font hosting. Should upgrade to CDN.

I'm really liking IcoMoon premium's hosting option - it saves a ton of time/hassle when updating fonts. However, I've noticed that the latency is really high (375ms), which just wont fly for a production site. Entire sites can load in that time, and other font hosts (i.e. google fonts) typically have a latency of 50-100ms.

It seems odd that a global service like IcoMoon wouldn't use an edge-caching CDN. Have you thought of upgrading premium hosting from S3 to Cloudfront? That would likely solve the issue.

Thanks!

Wes

The premium page on icomoon.io states that the "Basic Plan" is not useful for production. Our "Unlimited Plan" is supposed to be used for production only. It uses Amazon S3.

We have the unlimited plan. And the .css file is coming in from S3, but the latency is super high. Here are the stylesheets for our site and their load times:

Thanks for your feedback. We will try to add CloudFront hosting.

Cloudfront links were added for premium (unlimited) users. Please let me know if you see any issues. And if you will, please post the latency you get with cloudfront links for comparison. Thanks again for requesting this feature.
