Hi IcoMoon,
I think I have a feature request and also a request for tips & tricks in the meantime.
I'm contributing graphics (in the form of a font) to an app that relies on
Stylus. The font is great (so much better than sprite sheets)!
It's unclear, however, how I should be exporting the font and then checking in the files. The lead developer and I had a conversation about it, here is an excerpt:
"Hm, I guess ideally the style.css file was a stylus file, so i could include it (@require it, really) into my source, rather than load it as an external file at runtime. And I could *easily* do this by changing its file extension to .styl. But then anytime we added an icon we'd have to rename that file. Being able to export a style.styl file automatically would fix that.
it's such a small amount of code that there are a number of solutions, including copy-pasting the css into our own source, but I like the process of you being able to export directly from icomoon into our source and have it just work. otherwise we as humans will forget some step."
So, I have this feature request:
I would like a setting that causes an .styl file to be generated every time I export the font. Maybe the UI would look something like this:
In the meantime, is there anything I might try like a script that takes my sketch file and makes sure all the artboards are included in the font, exports it and then generates the .styl file ? :)
Thanks!
