Hi,

I've got a weird problem with one of my custom icons.

I've uploaded the icon, togther with a bunch of other icons, in svg format.

After the upload, the icon is visible on icomoon with three characters in a filled circle, just like it supposed to look like.

Then, after downloading the font however, the three characters have disappeared and only the black circle appears without the characters.

At the moment, I don't have a clue, why the icon appars properly on the icomoon site, but not when downloaded as font.

Thanks for any help in advance

Are you using text in your SVG? It needs to be converted to fills, and you need to subtracted it from the shape below it. If you couldn't figure it out, attach your SVG and I'll take a look.

Hi,

I have the same problem with an icon I am trying to export. It comes out as a black dot. My svg consists of three circles, black fills. I joined a copy. Out of the five I uploaded this one is the only one that turned out like this. I tried re-exporting, changing options but nothing works. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Here is a wetransfer link to my file :

Thanks for adressing the issue,

Please attach the SVG that doesn't get imported properly.

I provided a link to the file in my previous post. For the life of me I cannot find any way to attach a file here.

Here it is again :

This is a complex issue caused by different path directions. I'm not sure if there's any easy solution for it. But for now, I'm attaching an SVG that works fine.

I just ran into this issue where icons were filling in all black. The solution was to select all the paths and merge them using the merge option in the Pathfinder window/pallet.

Hope this helps someone out.

I'm new to icomoon and am having the same issues, however I cannot find the Pathfinder window.

After a bit of reading on the docs, it seems like the Pathfinder window is within Adobe Illustrator.

I'm using a chrome extension -- Vector Paint -- to create my SVGs, and unfortunately the tool has it's limitations (or at least I'm not well versed on how to use it). I've been unable to find a merge option for multiple paths in Vector Paint.

Are there any free resources you recommend for creating vector graphics?

You could use inkscape: http://inkscape.org/en/download/
