First of all I'd like to say that I love the IcoMoon app to generate SVG Icon sets for my website projects. This is a great service that I'd love to see develop into a professional service so that I can work with it properly.

Certainly I'm not the first one to address this but it really bugs me that projects are not saved any longer after my premium membership expired. I get the idea: Pay regularly for premium and your projects are safe.

Generally I am happy to pay the membership fee for something I am using regular. So I'm not complaining that I have to pay.

What I do not understand is why this subscription service is set up so poorly. Why not offer a way that you will be charged automatically until the subscription is cancelled. And instead of not saving the projects you could save them but lock them until premium is paid again.

I'm a web designer so I clear my cache all the time. Because of me forgetting to pay all my projects are lost now (and not for the first time). My own fault entirely but I would appreciate a solution that helps to avoid this situation.

Maybe you have good reason for this implementation but from my user perspective it doesn't make much sense.

Other than that, great tool :-)

You don't need to pay in order to access the projects saved in your account. If you no longer want to extend your premium plan, you can use the contact form and request your project files.

We do save and keep the projects after your plan expires. Once you extend your premium plan, you should see your projects again. If you don't, there's an issue with your account, which we can fix using our periodic backups. Just use the contact form and report the problem.
