imperfections in custom ttf font

I'm seeing some weird conversion errors when creating a custom font in icomoon. The SVG's look perfect - but thing get a bit wonky in the final font. Here's a screen shot of the SVG (Finder) and in Font Book (at max zoom).

Any ideas how to fix this?

Try increasing the em size. Font Tab > Preferences > Font Metrics > Em Square Size. Enter 2048. But that's a strange problem because your icon seems very simple. Could you attach it here?
