Makability readiness level ?

When someone finds an assistive solution, they probably want to
understand how difficult it is to make.

Inspired by TRL and MRL, I wondered if it would make sense to have some
kind of scale that helps the patient-maker to understand if the solution
is feasible.

MJ proposed very visely to consider a people centered  vs a product
centered dimentions.

I've seen a few sites where this is approached through listing the skills required (3d printing or soldering for example) to successfully complete a DIY device.
I think this give a potential builder, or user of the device, the relevant information to know if they can tackle making it or if they require some assistance. 
It might be easier for people than trying to remember what defines MaRL0,1,2 etc.
