DHU European opportunities

Hello everyone,

I am Lydie, engineer at Kerpape rehabilitation center in France. We developped the REHAB-LAB concept which is based on cocreating assistive devices with patients.

Today the community is worldwide and we work on developping the international network. The goal is to share assistive devices and good practices between occupational therapists, patients and technical referents, in 3D printing. 

Thanks to DHU (Digital Health Uptake https://digitalhealthuptake.eu/call-for-twinnings/), we could be granted for 8 000€ to develop the twinning and training people to install REHAB-LAB in their medical centres. It is needed to 

• Be in a medical centre, 
• Make assistive devices,
• Wish to learn 3D printing and cocreation with patients,
  
• Be a european country

Would some of European structures within ICoCreAD be interested in joining the call ?

The answers is needed quite soon since the call is open until the 13th of september.

I am available for a visio meeting if needed.

It would have been nice to have our project in Korea together, but it's a pity that it's only available in Europe.

@rst...@gmail.comI agree. Unfortunatelly nor this one but do not hesitate to come back to us if you see anything that could help developping REHAB-LAB in Corea !

@ thorsenrune, what we had in mind was to benefit from this grant to help medical structures to implement REHAB-LAB in Europe.

We were able to have some of this type of grants before (2019 and 2021) to implement some REHAB-LAB (Romania, Danemark, ...). The partners have to be medical structures. We have the previous models so the job to do is quite light.

Then, we could make a REHAB-LAB training (granted by DHU) to help these structures 

• Being REHAB-LAB members, 
• Provide co-conception of assistive devices model between healthcare professionals and patients thanks to 3D printing, 
• And take profit from being part of this network of professional practices around 3D design and 3D printing.

I can propose a webinar tomorrow or monday if some people want.

Lydige, we are a non profit rehabilitation hospital so we fit the description.  We are also AT providers as well as a reference centre. Hopefully we will get a frant to keep cocreation with 3d printers going. Can we put up a videoconference for next week?

We have a model that could be a facilitating start to fill the DHU form.

Would you be available to present it to you next friday morning ? Let say 10 o'clock on visio meeting ?
