About the Artist:
Prof Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam: Full bright scholar visiting from
India this Fall to teach at Duke and NCSU. A
leading performer and teacher of Carnatic music. She has performed
at the prestigious Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival and has
given a number of concerts in various places in the United States. She
has also performed in France, England, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia,
New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Germany and Switzerland.
