Session 2: Evening (6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.)

Cost: $100 for 6 sessions

Learn the various aspects of Hindustani Classical music by attending a
workshop with Dr. Monica Shah, topics include but not limited to:
1. Voice Culture
2. Bhajans & Stutis
3. History of Indian Classical Music
4. Authentic Bandish of Traditional Musicians
Dr. Monica Shah is a director of Aradhana Sangeet Academy of
Ahmedabad. She is
an examiner for many universities and conducts National Teacher’s
Workshop every
year in Rajasthan. Under her tutelage, 66 students have received their
Music
degrees at BA, MA and PHD levels. She is a disciple of Dr. Pradipta
Ganguli,
Surmani of Kirana Gharana and has adopted bhavvahi Gayaki of renowned
maestro
of Kirana Gharana, Late Pt. Rasiklal Andharia.
She is recipient of many awards including Gaurav Puraskar from Govt.
of Gujarat –
2010, Sangeet Shiromani Award – 2009, GCCI Award – 2008, Surmani
Award,
