The International Council of Security and Safety Management, which is also referred as “The Council”, is common platform of security and safety professionals catering to different needs of the varied industries. The council aims to provide not only a common platform to stakeholders, but also actively encourages attaining professionalism through increasing knowledge-base & making it easily available to those needed it through holding training programs, workshops and seminars. It also holds 'online discussions' and updates.

It is hoped that the professionals will increase / improve their professionalism by being the members of the Council and interacting with peers and experts. The council also strives to have strategic alliances with similar forums world over for furtherance of its objectives. Please note that the mast-head banner of ICISS is on the theme, “Let’s professionalize the professionals…” With this idea in mind, a monthly e-magazine from ICISS is being sent to security professional world over. It carries articles of varied interests on industrial security management. All the members are requested to send their preferred mail IDs so that same can be sent to them directly.
