Greetings.
We are organising a Short Course on "Fire Performance of Steel and
Concrete Structures" here at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
Delhi on Monday, 28th June, 2010. The importance of educating
engineers and planners on fire engineering concepts has been
underlined by several recent tragic fire events in the buildings and
facilities across the nation. Hence, the short course will address the
prime need of edifying the engineers and planners with the
fundamentals of fire engineering that will be of immediate practical
relevance. World renowned faculty experts, researching in the diverse
areas of fire engineering will be conducting the sessions over a day.
