Hey folks

As I understand it MS Azure utilizes a claims-based Identity architecture.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/appfabric/azure/middleware-services.aspx#AccessControl

But it doesn't say explicitly if this is an Infocards approach. Does any
one know, and does this mean the apps themselves are re-engineered to use
it too, like Sharepoint et al?

Could this mean it's the ideal way to encourage Infocard adoption is make
it a component part of the migration to Cloud systems in general? Ie other
Cloud providers set themselves up the same way.

Cheers, Neil.

Claims are not mandatory to be tied to information cards, Azure does use claims w/o information cards, these claims are used in various protocols (WS-Trust, SAML, Oauth, etc)
