This meeting may be of interest to many on this list.  If you are planning to attend please do let us know as Kantara would kindly seek a short summary from the meeting.

In case you happen to be near Stanford on Friday the 7th, there's a short NSTIC overview meeting:

-----
Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and cybersecurity czar Howard Schmidt are slated to head out to Stanford this Friday to offer insight on the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace. They'll join a slew of industry leaders - including the CEOs from McAfee and TechAmerica, one of the event's hosts - to discuss what's next for the draft proposal the administration released this summer. (Look for a final version of it to arrive early this winter, with the president perhaps receiving the report before President's Day.)

Joni
