ICF Meeting on Business Models for Higher LOA OPEN IDENTITY CREDENTIALS

According to a news item on the ICF website, there was an ICF meeting on business models for higher LOA open identity credentials held on July 29, during the Catalyst conference.

It would be great if someone who attended could post some notes or other comments regarding the outcome of the meeting.

Although I was at the meeting -- which was a very lively discussion -- I wasn't taking notes and I'm travelling at present. Mary Ruddy chaired the meeting and I believe took notes, so I nominate her to post her thoughts and also talk about next steps -- this is a dialog which crosses many different communities, businesses, and governments.

Yes, I will post some notes and provide some context.

As a side note, I just got off the phone with the NSTIC team. NIH
authorized me to talk to them about their PubMed, iTrust and planned higher
LOA pilot initiatives. We have a follow-up action item to coordinate
maximizing publicity of the NIH initiative. And yes I reminded them that one
of the most important things they can do is provide funding to catalyze the
issuance of the higher LOA information cards.
