Let me start by saying I LOVE IceSl. I've used OpenSCAD and Open JSCAD; they were good but I really love the power of IceSL. That being said, I am in the process of upgrading my printer to a 3-in 1-out Diamond extruder and would really love the ability to define brushes with mulitple extruders (feed percentage for Cyan, Magenta & Yellow output; as an example) for color mixing. Ultimately I am aiming to (AGAIN) upgrade to the 5-in 1 out Diamond extruder so I can print with (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, true Black and White). I am not a fan of many slicers. IceSL is by far the best, but I'm afraid I may have to try to figure out how to do it in ideaMaker's slicer if this feature isn't added. I would be more than happy to assist in the coding if needed.

Thanks for all you and your team have done to raise the bar on modeling and slicing.

But 5 colors aren't supported at the moment, as far as I know.

Hello Gvhall3d,

Thanks for the encouraging words! It is great to see more users adopting mixing extruders. We are still actively working on this and will send news soon (we have been doing multi-color prints every day in the past few months ;) ).We do have a 5-in 1-out diamond, and IceSL (beta) supports it already ; but this is still work in progress and things change rapidly.

The tutorial Maze pointed out still applies, so you can directly paint colors on models. This is quite advanced and we are also discussing ways to simply associate mixing ratios with brushes/extruders. More on this soon!

Best regards,
Sylvain

Thanks Maze,
Not sure how I missed that tutorial.
