Hi,

I start playing with the gyroid: fun!

Anyway, I found a bug on IceSL-slicer 2.1.10 under Linux amd64 (really a debian testing).
Whenever I start the slicer on command-line with an argument it segfault.
While opening the exact same file with the menu once IceSL is started, then it works properly.

The coredump is pretty big so ask me if mandatory.

Regards,
Loïc

Hi Loic,

Thanks for the report. I actually fixed this one already and it does not affect the Windows build of 2.1.10. Unfortunately, I cannot easily update the Linux build and we'll soon be away for the winter vacations -- so the bug will stay there for a few weeks. Sorry about that.

Yes: implicits are a ton of fun, especially combined with distance fields and textures. More of these features are coming, but I'll have to write down an article about how to use them! (it is not only about documentation but also about giving tips and tricks and examples).

Best,
Sylvain

Hi Sylvain,

Ok nice to hear, I will accommodate myself in between.

I haven't tried all the new IceSL features yet but I need too.
Anyway if I can provide any help in writing or documenting, you know how to reach me.

regards,
Loïc
