Hi,
could it be possible to have a "Slice" action without the need to save our Gcode file ?

IceSL asks for a name and save location before slicing happens.
I would prefer to be able to slice, see the results, change some slice settings, slice again, and only save when satisfied.
This would let us explore more easily all the great options provided by IceSL without having to save unwanted results with a significant gain on time.
Could be implemented by saying "Cancel" when asked where to save the gcode file.
Or by adding a "Update Slice" button and a "Save Gcode" button next to the "Close" button in the "Gcode preview" window.

Cheers.

I'm very happy to see that my request has finally been taken into account. Thanks !
I don't know in which release it appeared because I simply gave up using IceSL for that reason.
And I'm also happy I decided to test IceSL again recently unless I would have never known about it...

Hi,
the answer is quite simple. You have to check Save after service. At this moment the IceSL will slice model the first and after that you can save it.

Thanks Walker.

But I was not asking how to do it...
But just saying thank you that the team decided to include my request from February 2019.
