I just discovered that VMware Fusion now supports OpenGL 4.3, and installed arm64 Ubuntu 25 in Fusion on my M3 MacBook in some excitement ... only to realise that no arm64 Linux download of IceSL is available.

Could an arm64 version be provided? I think this would finally enable me to run IceSL on my Mac (and do some more work on this custom Gravitrax piece: https://share.icloud.com/photos/043ptL1igqVhVArK6Vck-7ufQ).

All the best,
George

Hi George.

For this I’d have to get ahold of an ARM machine. There’s a Macbook in our team that should be free by the end of this year. I’ll try to get my hands on it and compile IceSL for it. Hell, I’ll even try to create a MacOS build (no promises though).

Good idea! Let me see what I can do with my department’s budget. Maybe I can justify the purchase like that!

@Salim Perchy, Get yourself a oneplus 6 phone and load mobile-NixOS

Cheap arm device you can build some goodies.

I too would like an aarch64 version of IceSL. I plan on a cross-compile to see what I get. Just tied up at the moment.
