Hi Maximilian.

Glad to hear you wanna give IceSL a try. The package we offer for linux is a universal binary (as far as that's possible) so no installation is needed. This decision is due to the eclectic nature of package formats on linux distros. We used to offer a debian installer, but we decided to supersede it lest people without dpkg have difficulties installing it.

Now, if you wanna use it, you just need to cd to the bin folder and execute IceSL-slicer. Let us know how that goes!

Salim.

Hi,
I juste I tried to run IceSL-slicer 64b on my linux mint 18.2 cinnamon 64bit and I have that:
$ ./IceSL-slicer
( IceSL 'Feb  2 2018 18:07:05')
IceSL is highly experimental software.   =====>>> USE AT YOUR OWN RISK <<<=====

Hi.

This is due to your intel graphics cards not supporting OpenGL 4.3 in compatibility mode. However, we're close to releasing an OpenGL core-profile compliant version and this should solve the aforementioned issue. In the meanwhile, if you have a hybrid NVidia or AMD card, please use it, or if all else fails, the windows version should work on your graphics card. Stayed tuned.

Salim.
