Hi, and thank you for accepting. I'm really happy with the way this software works!

I was wondering if there was a way to do some kind of post processing when a file has been sliced. I would like to be able to send a gcode file straight to the printer, possibly after the save gcode button is pressed?
In S3D i use this post processing line to do this job.....

Would this be possible with IceSL? Even if I could call a seperate upload script?

Also, would it be possible to have a 'Hide Model' checkbox once the model has been sliced, so that only the slice is shown?

But, again, this is a wonderful slicer. Well done to all involved.

John.

Hi John,

There is currently no way to call an external post-processing after saving the Gcode, but that is a good suggestion ; I understand the potential for this. I add the idea on the list of features to look into (I am thinking perhaps a lua script could be called after generating the GCode file -- giving full freedom).

"Hide model": noted! We are planning a full revision of the GCode preview, we'll take this into account.

Thanks for using IceSL and for the suggestions!

Best regards,
Sylvain
