Heya,

As I indicated in my last mail I'd like to see someone else take over Icemon
maintainership.

I'm not using Icecream actively myself right now and obviously maintaining
Icemon in that context makes no sense. I cannot do real-world testing right
now.

Defacto I'm not looking at Github issues and PRs for a while now... Sorry for
that, but that's life.

Someone willing to take over?

For the record:
https://github.com/icecc/icemon

Regards,
Kevin

Like you I no longer am in a position where I am using ice-cream. I'll probably do another release next summer for my friends who are, but we have never upgraded icemon. I can release icemon but I wouldn't test it first, so I'm not sure if that is a good Idea.

I'm not sure if this message gets to anyone else.

Heya,

Yeah, I'm not sure how Icemon users are actually on this list here, but please
let's ask around if there's anyone who's actively using it who could take over
its maintainership.

It's not a lot of trouble to maintain/release, really, it just needs someone
who takes care :)

I'm not sure I'm up to the job, but we actively use ICECC and I'm willing to try to pick up ICECC maintenance.
Could you contact me for details? @janwilmans on twitter.

Greetings,

Jan Wilmans

The message you replied to is for icemon not icecc. Icecc is maintained. We do releases of icemon as well, but it I'm not sure I'd call it maintained in the same sense.

I'm actually glad to see that I read that message wrong and ICECC is being maintained :)
I'm not a user of icemon, so I have no interest in maintaining that...

Greetings,

Jan
