Went to Quaboag around 11 today..There were a half dozen windsurf boats...I asked one of them about the ice thickness he said near the launch was 5" and out in the middle 3"...


I can sail tomorrow and Thursday...But A few of the guys I usually sail with ...are working...

So if anyone reading this tonight wants to join me  tomorrow give me a shout 508 344 3406

Follow up on Quaboag...lots of stacked air  bubbles in the refrozen black ice..5 to 4 "... launch area shoreline open ..need 12'..long  plank to launch my boat...If temps go above 40 with bright sun... this ice may become questionable ....I'm skipping today...Going to ere on the side of caution and hope for the best after Fridays melt down....
