Twelve boats were out cruising around on Bantam today. The ice is a mix of smooth and glossy to bumpy and glossy due to last Sunday’s snow/ice storm.
That was Zambonied by Thursday’s 1.6 inches of rain and it froze up on Friday. Sailing followed for the next 3 days. Now snow and/or rain is expected starting tomorrow. And so goes the cycle of sailing in New England winter weather.
