Instructions for final submission: deadline, methods' summaries

Dear registered participants to ICDAR'25 MapText,

As the final deadline is approaching, we would like to clarify the last steps with you.

We thank you for your interest in our competition and encourage you to contact us at icdar25-maptext-contact@googlegroups.com if you have any question.

1. Deadline

The final deadline for the competition is this Sunday, April 20th end of day AnywhereOnEarth, i.e., April 21st 12:00 (noon) UTC+0. So, submission will remain open on Sunday.

2. Methods' summaries

We need some information about your submission to write the competition report, contact you for further details if needed, and prepare awards.

We request you to fill requested information in the submission form, in particular regarding:

1. method name
2. method description for each task, including reference to published work or preprints, with link to public material if available (github, open weights…). Please indicate any extra training data you used. This description is meant to be included in the report; so please provide the kind of information you would like to read from other competitors' descriptions: architecture, training process, training data, pre and post processing, etc.
3. authors names and affiliation
4. contact email

It is very important that we can reach you to obtain further details.

We will make sure we avoid asking twice the same thing.
