Dear friends,
The time has come to bring us all together again in a great gathering around the build-up to the US Social Forum in Detroit. We hope to have twice-monthly public USSF meetings and this first fantastic, fabulously phenomenal unforgettable force of a meeting will kick us off just right! If you felt like you heard about this thing called the US Social Forum, but still don't get it....this'll be the place to be. If you are thinking to yourself, "shoot, I should find out how to get more involved, perhaps on one of those committees they keep talking about"...well then you know where it's at. We'll be talking outreach, we'll be talking logistics, we'll be talking fundraising, media & communications, post-USSF strategy, and more. Oh, you heard about that thing called the People's Movement Assembly? We might even talk about how that could happen in Washtenaw County. And what's that? You haven't registered yet? We'll be ready for you.
What: Ann Arbor/Washtenaw County Local Organizing Meeting
Day/Time: Wednesday Feb 24, 2010 at 5:30pm
Location: Ann Arbor Community Center -
Map to the AACC
Plan: Get folks informed, energized, equipped and engaged. Many questions will be asked; many ideas shared; and much discussion built. Your energy will make it a success.
Who should be there: Individuals, groups, organizations, families, adults, children, youth...you...and you...and you over there. Oh, and bring 2 friends and neighbors.
More to come...
