Announcing the Give Fair Trade campaign!

 

Fair Trade advocates nationwide are teaming up to…INSPIRE the public to Give Fair Trade gifts this holiday season with…

• an invitation to take a pledge to Give Fair Trade gifts

• a daily blog post (from November 15-December 20) featuring a Fair Trade product, an explanation of how Fair Trade transforms the lives of a group of Fair Trade producers, and a promotion or special offer

 

Both will be promoted throughout November and December by all participating organizations by tweet, blog, email, flyer, etc, etc…

 

There are two ways to get involved:

 

1. Everyone:  Promote the Fair Trade Holiday Gift Pledge to your friends, family, customers, congregation, etc.  The pledge is available at  http://www.globalexchange.org/campaigns/fairtrade/cocoa/giftchallenge.html.  Flyers will be available in early November.
2. Retailers:  Provide a blog post!  Available on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 30 retailers.  This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity to educate tens of thousands of committed Fair Trade advocates nationwide about your products and the cooperatives that make them.  Visit http://www.globalexchange.org/campaigns/fairtrade/cocoa/GiveFairTradeRetailers.html for details.  DEADLINE to submit is November 10, 2010.
